Synonyms of Life
No man should be an island,
Sittin' pretty til the end,
Tis a sailor he should be,
To travel the stormy sea.
All they do is stay near the rivers head,
Atrociously staying in their homely stead.
Aye down the river they never travel,
Are mysteries of the banks that I unravel.
Admitted, I've foundered in watery floods,
And scrubbed my ship wit' soapy suds,
Add to that my large collection,
All memories of what they shun,
And I would never change my ship,
Acquitting my galley for the slip,
Aye, you'll never see me do that,
And let me get my captain's hat,
Away down the river let me float,
Attacking life in my mighty boat!
So what if our ships flounder and wreck,
Or we oft have to wash our filthy deck,
The macaws we see are of many a hue,
But the lubbers know only of green and blue!
Keep in mind as you live, wether down the perilous river you float or at the head you safely sit. If we do not go on a goose chase of life, We'll just boredly sit and daily twiddle thumbs.
It isn't necessity that's the mother of invention,
It's stupidity and craziness.
Life is community service. 100 years of it, time off for bad behavior. Take a break and laugh.
