Your Candlelight

I sit here by your candlelight
Oh how I wish you were here tonight

I'd sit in your arms delicate yet strong
And you'd sing me the sweetest song

Whispering softly into my ear
Telling me exactly what I need to hear

I'd look deeply into your eyes
Promising there'd be no lies

Gently you'd caress my hair
While into my eyes you stare

I promise to love you forever more
Your happiness, I'm responsible for

I sit here by your candlelight
Oh how I wish you were here tonight.

Wistful and loverly. I have felt the same way...
