Samson's counterpart

To me she's Samson's complement,
With strength beyond mine.
She lifts the world from my shoulders.
With multi opine.

Cooks and cleans and tends the children
And protects our home.
She lifts the weight of decisions
As light as a comb.

A lioness, a provider.
A huntress on call.
She sweeps and speed away problems
Like leaves in the fall.

May the pillars of our temple
Ever stay sworn.
And may the thought of Delilah
Never be born.

Sunshine,
What she thinks of my poetry is a whole other world. But I do thank you for the comment.

Sy, you crack me up! Not your poem but your comment about Isabel! I can hear her now.

How sweet! Must have missed this one when I was away that week! Glad it was brought back up!

Balladeer,
I know you must be falling down laughing but that's between us.
Denise,
A lot of my work is done with tongue in cheek
and Balladeer knows me and my family. So to him my poem had a different meaning.
