BETTER A FROG THEN A FOOL The frog, he sits and waits And ponders on his day The moon The fly His love, little one eye. The frog adores the moonlight On pond his love reflecting, A fool Knows not of connecting He prefers a chase of might. Better a frog Who, perceives beauty in life And for one love its love to strive, Then a fool blind to vision Chooses lovers for a fashion. Of frog or fool… In life I’ll choose to be a frog, In love with one and one true love Pray tell, To you I say and learn it well… …I’ll never be a prince in a castle Although, a princess I oft do kiss, I’ll love but only one love For many is misguided bliss, Take heed my words of wisdom They are… notably sound, Better a frog in life Then a fool in an empty pond. The frog, he sits and waits He ponders on his life The moon The flies And his love, little sweet eyes. U K Hero A castle not make’Th the prince, Nor a pond an ugly frog.
