The way i see it there are three parts to this dismay,
this one thing struck me, as to why we are so afraid.
I did some thinking and a search to understand,
the meaning of an emotion that keeps us at bay.

This is not something black or white,
it's a sensation in our body and mind,
that seems to vary from time to time.
Coming to extremes of fight or flight.

Something of anticipated danger;
from slight concern to terror and horror;
someone startled may develop a panic attack
of something as simple as a stranger.

Throwing us into breathless nervous quivers,
a nagging qualm with a significant other,
onset with confusion and trembling,
resulting in uncontrollable shivers.

The're many types of this feeling you see,
animals, diseases, situations and places,
snow, rain and thunder the same,
There's a name for every one that be.

I can't tell if it's the things in sight,
our future-not knowing what it will be,
could it be the dog bite at three,
maybe it's the stuff we anticpate to fight.

No answers to this incurable sickness,
I just know we all have it...DIS-EASE.

Thanks justbleu but that is dis ease.
Isn't that what fear is dis ease with
ourselves which causes disease?
