Never give her up

I could never give her up.
Every morning when I wake
she walks back into my mind
I would give up everything else
just to have her back again
The rain can't wash away the tears
of the memories now lost in time
as I stand on the edge of tomorrow
struggling to hold onto yesterday

I would follow the moon or the sun
to the end of eternity and beyond
just to hold her in my arms again.
I would forsake all my friends
if that was what it would take
just to have her touch me again.
She's gone and changed the dream
now what is lost can not be found
and still I will never give her up.
