The human race? What can be said?
He wishes they had a single head,
So he might hang 'em with a rope.
He's an equal opportunity
misanthrope.

Against races, he won't
discriminate.
There's more than enough in each
to hate.
No matter their color, they're
all beyond hope
To the equal opportunity
misanthrope.

They all lie, cheat, steal; they
trample
Each other,and that's just a
sample
Of their crimes--prodigious in
scope.
Ask the equal opportunity
misanthrope.

And they have the gall to pretend
to each other
That, down deep, they're sister
and brother.
Does he accept this illusion?
Nope.
He's an equal opportunity
misanthrope.

In sum, he deems the human race
Among Nature's creatures, the
disgrace.
They are the filth. He'd be the
soap,
This equal opportunity
misanthrope.

Pretty good poem, Dom.... 'Tis very well done -
Ya know, though - not all MissNTropes are so hateful.....See, I'm just MissN - who happens to be a Trope - One who uses the figurative sense of syntax..... Sort of the antithesis of a misanthrope.... A walking oxymoron, so to speak...
