Dear Lord I Pray

I went walking one morning and saw the works of god.
I bowed my head and prayed "Oh Lord I praise your job."

It was hard for me to pray at first for so little did I know.
But it seems he understood me and I bowed my head down low.

Our father which art in heaven, to thee I humbly bow.
I have seen your power, but never realized till now.

How much my actions mean, I haven’t at all been fair.
To those I hold most dear and those who love me and care

And now dear God I’ve lost my love, I hurt him and he walked away.
Oh how I want him back again for this dear Lord I pray.

I truly understand the 3rd and 4th lines...sometimes even though you feel your words are spoken to deaf ears, rest assured they're not....I believe we find a peace in just saying what's in our hearts....but I do think there's someone listening.
