You ask what your love means to me…

Think of blinded eyes, which have never
seen color…their first look at a rainbow
Think of one who never believed in God
and suddenly has proof of His existence
Think of a dying sun, and in its death
it explodes to become a trillion stars
Think of the first dance between new
lovers, the way they look at each other
Think of your first look out the window
on the first snow of winter, still untouched
Think of the sound of a laughing child and
remember how it brightens any room
Think of the rhythm of my heart and know
each beat belongs to you …

Caroline,

"Think of a dying sun, and in its death
it explodes to become a trillion stars"

to think that my death [or anyone's] becoming a trillion stars gives me much to live for, and then be remembered for, long thereafter.

Absolutely beautiful.
