someone once said
"it's not reality"
wrap yourself up in him
and we drift away
keep a distance
from the core of a saint
selfless gestures
to mutilate
i can't find a place
to fall into
and yet i take up space
why do i attempt to
friends do not forgive
they are like fences
you can see right through
but they don't let you in
where is the gate?

Where is the gate? Good question...There seems to be just walls-called humans. It's said the gate is found within us-but it seems to be too well hidden.

An interesting read.

Deep indeed! I have to ditto on those last lines of, "where is the gate."
If those so called friends won't let you in that gate, then shut it on them, and find you some new ones! A true friend will let you in. Great piece!!!

Deep thoughts for the night. What friend did something so cruel to you?
(HUGS) needed and sent to you this night.
