To sleep I lay and listen to rain Drop by drop. Uncounted in the darkness One by one. Weeping on the window pane Drop by drop. Running to rivulets egress One by one. And I hush to drowsy reign Drop by drop. Drawn to the shush of less One by one. Drop by drop One by one. Until none. |

Satiate, Masters and Isis, Thank you so much for the praise, this is a strange poem even to me. It seemed to have a hypnotic quality about it. I only posted it to see what others thought. Thank you all again. |
