Sounds of a melody, a tune, a chorus;

Intoxicating as sips of good wine.

Thoughts harmonizing in porous;

As essence of the divine.

Rhapsody to nourish,

Orchestra in a heart of symphonic air.

My mortal existence, flourish.

My eyes no longer blind-sudden care.

For now I see:

Trees of green, skies of blue,

Hearing-

Lovers sayin' "I love you."

A legendary sound-

Majesty's magical gain,

A sacred verse I found.

For a tune, I can not refrain;

A miracle of birth,

A chase of pain.

Music's highest worth.

Ahhh the snazz-suite jazz.

As I think to myself-
What A Wonderful World.

Today a man discovered gold and fame,
Another flew the stormy seas;
Another set an unarmed world aflame,
One found the germ of a disease.
But what high fates my path attend;
For I-today-I found a friend.

I like both the song and your poem, Julie! It truly is a wonderful world.

I love it too Julie! And thanks for the reminder the world is wonderful and there is magic in the smallest or most seemingly inconsequential things...

Seymour...
You are SO SWEET! I love your work too!
When I read your note...well it went straight to my heart and teared off my face.

A BIG HUG FOR YOU!
