"Impulsive" is my middle name,
"Incredibly" is my first.
All other adjectives are arranged,
Around them to describe me worse.

I love music mostly for the lines,
Since I seem to be tone deaf.
Therefore, Country suits me fine,
Though Classical is my second best.

I'm a puzzle solver, an Engineer,
Challenging problems raise a flag.
I aspire to write like Balladeer,
And to have the integrity of Toerag.

A sweet romantic man you'll find,
When you've come to know me well.
I worship the world of womankind,
They have me under their spell.

I'm chauvinistic with a capital C,
I hold Lorelei's door and chair.
I pamper her and keep her close to me,
Because I'm lost without her there.

I'm also flirtatious and a bit of a rake,
Though I'm learning to pull in the reins.
Lorelei is quick to "correct" my mistakes,
Which I need to avoid causing pain.

I'm faithful to every one of my friends,
Though I'm known to speak out when I must.
My friends know what I feel within,
Because their friendship is what I trust.

I act lighthearted when there's tragedy,
I can't deal with it in the usual way.
And so I appear to not have empathy,
When, in fact, I'm overcome with pain.

I've made plenty of mistakes in my life,
They sometimes return when I'm down.
I've hurt my children, I've an ex-wife,
They deserved better than what they found.

So. Now you've learned a little of me,
Although, I'm still learning more every day.
I've learned Life is a journey of discovery,
And I've more to learn as I go on my way.

You did great for what I think is a difficult subjest: our true selves. Who of us can say that we've not made mistakes, but it sounds that you have overcome those and learned well. I bow to you and yours, you more than met the challenge.
