Listening to every heart

0 posted 1999-09-15 03:27 PM

Here I Am

Can you hear me? Here I am, by your side,
in your thoughts, and in your heart riding
along with you, my love of you forever wide
and from Me, child, you cannot hide.

No, I’m not the daunting form I seem to take
just because my silent words seem to quake
the substance below you ~ you’ll not fall;
just nod your head, yes, you’ve heard my call.

I see here now, as I look inside your soul
that your heart seems weary, yes, I’ve given it a toll
and you have not given this burden back to me;
well now of course you’re weary, and why I can see.

What have I spoken about in the past?
I can give you healing that will last,
all you need do is give back to me
the love I’ve given you, don’t you see?

Now, I’ll not chastise, for it’s only purely human
to want to deal with your problems through acumen
but for My sake, as well as for yours, dear child
come to Me with the problems, either raving or mild.

I won’t guarantee a quick fix, rather a lifting of heart
so take those selfish burdens from life’s cart
and place them for safe-keeping here in my hands
then go on to enhance life’s greater demands.

Can you hear me? Here I am, by your side,
in your thoughts, and in your heart riding
along with you, my love of you forever wide
and from Me, child, you cannot hide.

Can't imagine why nobody has responded to this,Sunshine.Personally,I am thinking about your words.Swore that I wouldn't trust Faith again-but,well...maybe.
Anyway,you got me to think about trying.

Your daughter is a lucky girl sunshine,
beautifully done. Children bring out the best in us all don't they? :

Paul, thank you for letting me know that this touched you so;

'Deer, amazing how life's problems, and possible solutions, end up being "everyone's"; no, this was not for my daughter. It is for "everyone".

Isis, Sy, Severn, Whtdove, Rainbow...thank you all.
