Have you ever noticed the air of spring,
A fragrance that's so devine?
When falling rain gently covers,
The grass and honeysuckle vines.

The scent of a lady, freshly bathed,
With powders and perfumes and such,
All of our senses reach out in envy
The sweet smells we adore so much.

But now and then we experience an odor,
That catches us way off guard,
You're really unsure where it came from?
But you'd guess a local barn yard

It enters your nose in the usual way,
And you recognize it as Old Balladeer,
The colognes he wears are "Catch of The Day"
And sometimes Barnyard Hil-figger.

ROFLMAO... such a purty poem... spring showers and gardens and sweet perfumes... and then the stench hits! LOL. Here I was, almost closing my eyes as I remembered scents that mean so much to me, memory triggers that can transport me to another place and time in an instant... one in particular that sweetens my dreams every night *G* .... and then I'm falling out of my chair, ROFL @ Barnyard Hil-figger! Great job, Toe!!!

What's this? You saying there's something else around here that stinks besides your poetry? Maybe I should borrow some of Suthern's Canal #5?
