Miracles find no faith in a dead heart.
Love can't take hold within a broken soul.
Disdain is raised to the level of Art.
Fear places Fate beyond our control.

Hidden agenda belies compassion.
Even white lies hide darkest desires.
The full countenance of truth is ashen.
Apathy prevents what love requires.

Grief creates a lack of rational thought.
Love becomes the cruelest of all insults.
What casual cruelties kindness has wrought.
For iniquitous thought mankind exults.

From vicious deceit no man is exempt.
Impious platitudes swallow reason.
Decadence breeds an arrogant contempt.
Truly for all things there is a season.

I can relate well to this one Dream. You speak much truth here.

A true picture of the human heart, very skillfully painted. Very well done DE. You are quite a profound thinker!

Hey DE. I really liked this, and agree 100% with the content. Love can be the truest form of torture, and even in innocence we betray.
