The storm is coming, yes, I know
-The Weather Channel told me so.

Its visciousness fills me with fear;
I pray for all that I hold dear.

I hope Floyd moves out very fast
And fairer days return at last.

Now Godspeed friends - I wish you well;
May He preserve you through this swell...

And see you through to the other side;
To brighter skies and a storm-free tide.

(You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless! )

Thank you for the nice thoughts, Denise. We'll be OK and, if not, I'll come back and go after Toerag post-humorously!

We're all ready. It goes with the territory. You are truly a good person. Thank you.

What will be difficult is that when it's over, phone lines are down for a bit and we won't know if everyone is ok. My daughter lives in Gainesville, far from the path, but I called her last night just to touch base with her, knowing it would be difficult to get through later this week....

Your poem is great Denise....the concern and love in this Passionate Place is overwhelming!

Just adding my own prayers to those above.
