Across the miles, we hold each other's hand.
Long distance love is a difficult choice.
Surging emotions I don't understand.
This chorus of feeling speaks with one voice.

True love fills me with an awesome power.
Our souls became one in cyber-space.
We're blessed in this electronic bower.
Eyes closed,my fingers ache to touch her face.

Her silence speaks to me, not just her words.
Her sparkling eyes are dancing in my mind.
Our love takes flight on the wings of birds.
She's the treasure I never thought to find.

From heartache and her love springs sweet release.
With rage and my past she has made my peace.

As a hopeless romantic, I certainly enjoy this side of you, Dream. And this is truly beautiful. Exellent work.

Distance is always such a factor on the computer, not always in love, but in friendships as well.

Oh Dream, what can I say that everyone hasn't already said??? Your dark side is dark, but I have to admit, your love runs deeper than most I've seen.....absolutely exquisite poem....very very beautifully written....and I sure can relate to the story you tell here.....*** blowing kisses

Very good. In distance, we are closer I think..... I enjoy the differences in your poetry lately.

I read this again and realize the truth hiding within it's lines....I see you've fallen in love with a fair maiden online! I think it's nice when we can broaden our horizons with friendships/relationships online....even if we can't act on them....sometimes it's our only escape to sanity.....what a lucky girl! The first stanza says it all..........I can relate.

The moment has passed, though perhaps it will come again.

I have come to hold many at Passions near and dear to my heart, some more than others and that is the true reward of PiP, not the exhibition of one's verse, but rather the relationships and friendships that form out of this community we have created here.

My rare romantic moods therefore are due to all the poets at PiP, though again, some more than others.

Dream, I feel like the biggest ditz in the whole world! I read this when I was so completely tired, so please forgive me as I didn't read between the lines... That first stanza up there certainly says a lot! I couldn't be smiling any wider than I am right now!

Dream,
Can't believe I didn't comment on this one.
Well after careful consideration, I'd say
It's pretty dam good.
