What is Sacrifice
but a ground to commit
retaliation of what you get,
in desperation even twice.

It's a place of danger
when someone said -
It's time I got paid
for I did you a favor.

Kindness and chairty
should always be freed,
Not to be paid for your good deed.
So do your duty with human parity.

Don't boast to yourself or others,
what a selfless soul you are
surpassing another by far
for being an angel to your brothers.

Always do what is kind
and know that love
will come from above
and grace will be your find.

It's not sacrifice we want to enhance,
but to do what is fair and good,
Just so others can do what they should...
by helping YOU when given the chance.

Today a man discovered gold and fame,
Another flew the stormy seas;
Another set an unarmed world aflame,
One found the germ of a disease.
But what high fates my path attend;
For I-today-I found a friend.

Denise, THANK YOU.
If I never got another comment,
this one above would be enough.

(But don't let that stop anybody (hee!hee!)
