Tick tock, its ten to twelve
the sound of the clock atop the shelve
as time winds down to its daily end
it pays no heed to pleas of men

You had your chance all through the day
but chose procrastination anyway
Now its too late your chance is gone
'cause the stroke of midnight is almost drawn

The time you wasted has come and passed
twelve o'clock will be here at long last
I still have ten minutes left you say,
but the clock on the shelf still hold's sway

Still ticking and tocking its way along
the final countdown pipes it's theme song
No mercy is given in this final flight
As the big hand of time strikes midnight
