When the time comes to say goodbye, and all is said and done, who is left to stand and cry? Am I the only one?

Who will help to ease the pain, the hurt so deep within? Will I be alone for good? Or will I have a friend?

My questions will not be answered, but as time goes on I'll see,the one I loved so much is standing next to me.

Then I'll remember how it was, when I held you close to my heart.
With that warm feeling etched in my mind, your love will never part.

Dbeth again a wonderful piece...but the poet in me wants to see this in a different format. Definately a beautiful piece.

When the time comes to say goodbye,
and all is said and done,
who is left to stand and cry?
Am I the only one?
Who will help to ease the pain,
the hurt so deep within?
Will I be alone for good?
Or will I have a friend?
My questions will not be answered,
but as time goes on I'll see,
the one I loved so much
is standing next to me.
Then I'll remember how it was,
when you held me close to your heart.
With that feeling etched in my mind,
your love will never part.
