I looked at
death
I looked at
despair
I looked at
distance
I looked at
danger
I looked at
disgust
I looked at
desperation
I looked at
descending
that had no grace.
Never finding the
Glory of God.
Where is Our
Almighty,
among all of this?
Where is
His answers
to my questions
for which
I have no
understanding.
Glory to God
in the Highest.
My Salvation
the One
everlasting.
I will find
you there
removing
all my cares.
Among this darkness you call light.

Powerful...I agree with Pepper. And your quote was something too; really gave me stuff to think about. Well written, Julie

Thank you Pepper and Emmy. When this poem,
is written with options of format. The
words appear as a candlestick, which appeared by accident. That's why
*!! are added.

Interesting it is! I could see the resemblance of the candle stick when I went back and looked. God answers all, we only have to listen. But not always in the way we expect, but He is always there. Very touching poem!
