Friend is forever....

A Ray of sunshine came my way
And took the dark of yesterday
Far away from mind and thought
Was love and laughter that he taught
I had never dreamed until this day
Dreams had always slipped away
The thrill of dreaming while awake
Sometimes proved more than I could take
The smiles he put on my face
The laughter that we made
We lived together in one space
I am you and you am I
Forever always may this last
To have an hold till silence past
We know each other inside out
Never questioned, there is no doubt
Through miles and madness we held stead fast
Was nothing that cold keep us back
We spent the night, with sunrise in our eyes
And told of childhood games and cry's
Of life and loosing, bitter pasts
Of loving, longing holding fast
Oh never have I felt secure
As when wrapped in arms of love, so pure
In trusted love he gave so free
He gave, this love, his love, to me.

Nicely done Tori! Well written and well thought out. It flows very nicely. Yes, I like it a lot...in fact I must send it to a friend. Thanx loads for publishing this. Keep up the good work.
