Every love song I hear reminds me of you.
Each time as fresh as the morning dew.
A sweet wind of music blows thru my soul.
A tinkling of refrain, melodiously whole.

The spirit of a woman, in love with a man.
You have touched me in ways no other can.
My soul sings a love song no other can hear,
And it whispers sweet nonsense for you,my dear.

A song filled with passion, with love and with grace.
My fingers reach out to stroke your sweet face.
The love in your eyes sets my heart on fire.
A smouldering bank of passionate desire.

A look, a glance, a touch, a kiss.
All of this I knew I would miss.
But in all of the things that I missed most,
Was the song in my soul; such a silent ghost.

And now it sings out so vibrant and clear.
And it whispers sweet nonsense for you, my dear.

"melodiously whole"...that phrase alone would carry this poem.....but it doen't have to. The whole thing is excellent.

Beautiful - the last line is so well fitting, it really personalises the whole poem (especially as you use it twice.) This is an excellent piece of poetry, WildChild.

Thank you all for your kind words. You have no idea how much it means to me to have you all read my poems and then respond. I don't feel all alone out there anymore. Thanks again
