As I sit here a new world it unfolds,
A world of dreams, pain and fantasy,
A world that's beautiful to behold,
A place that doesn't make me crazy.

A place where people share themselves
Where we all get to have a say
A place to express one's self
To cheer you at the end of the day.

We have all planted seeds here
Seeds that help us grow,
Seedlings of dreams or tears,
Thoughts we wish to sow.

A special world where love abounds
Sharing dreams, laughter and pain,
Where no one tries to tear you down
Where we see rainbows through the rain.

So I would like to thank you all
For sharing this with me,
This special place our Passionate Forums,
Has come to mean the world to me.

Well said! If I look at total time spent on the internet I would have to say about 85% of it is spent within these halls. I think this piece says much for us all. Thanks for sharing.

Andrew,
Thanks for the kind words, I like your poems too. I am a Scott as well - Lisa Scott, so I always see your name easily - or subconsciously

Andrew, Thanks for the kind words. I too, find all my net time is being spent here.
I am Lisa Scott by the way, perhaps Scott's are poets?

Very good,as usual! And now I know where you've been my friend! I'm frowning at the screen, but I can't hold onto it, as your 'work' is too good to keep to yourself--I can't begrudge the world your way with words! Love ya' Sis!
