A wordsmith crafts , in forge of thought ,
two constructs crude , though finely wrought
For each may pass , to fulfill a need ,
in solitude , fruits born of seed .
Not judged by half , with both employed ,
and in full light , across the void .
Add wheat to chaff , in such a way ,
to coax insight , from matter gray .

Me thinks also, if you tell me you wrote this in an hour I'll going back to writing kids Nursery rhymes, if it took you 20 years then I will have to live again, to gain an insight into life and how to express it.

To Hoot Owl rn & U.K Hero ,
thank you , but no master I ,this poem was writen over the course of a nine hour workday
and was an exercise to see how many ways a rhyme would work without losing all coherent
meaning .To me the story line was weak and self indulgent , but I did want to experiment

Alison,
Thanks, lol, my, my, you do get around. I don't know about "good" but, I do check in from time to time to see if anyone has been tip-toeing through my tulips, so to speak.

How about plodding through...in the sense of following Alison's tip-toes? I'm so glad she bumped this up...

I missed it the first go around!

Sunshine,
Thanks. Often , when re-visiting pieces from the past my first thought is " what the heck was I thinking" , lol. As with far too few, this wasn't one of those.
