dont feed me sorrow
it has a bitter taste
some say my life is such a waste
try standing in my place
feel the sun's disgrace
maybe you will find shelter
in my battered soul
i see it now over the treetops
my fate awaiting me
its so near
but up above
where i can not reach
like my shooting star
stranded in hopes
fading gleam
misery like youve never seen..

Darkly painful, Jackal..I truly feel your pain.
