At the edge and a doorway,TX

Times at night I roll over
I see your beautiful face
Soft, peaceful, gentle
Calling out my name to reach out and kiss it
Calling out my hand to glide across your features
An angel such as you is real

I do and you wake
I see your eyes
Deep pools of wonder
Holding secrets that I cannot reveal
So alive
I see my future in your eyes
A home, a child, a life
Just everything I have ever wanted in a man
Now I have it all
I found it all in you

As you lay there half awake and half asleep
I watch your chest move up and down as you breath
The rhyme rocks me into a trance
Before I sleep, I lean forward and kiss you goodnight

Love,
Lady
