Spring is here the flowers bloom,
Summer's heat filled with despair.
Autumn precedes the blue moon,
Winter's cold nights and frigid air.

Red roses, Geraniums, Asters,
Gardenia's, and Patience galore.
God's magnificent masters,
always giving more.

Mexican Heather does what it must,
Cannas rise almost to the sky.
When the winds abound with its gust,
Crepe Myrtle blooms season to fly.

Vines and pollen ready to shout,
Crysathysthmums making their claim.
My garden is a special place no doubt,
The Master donates with his fame.

For He blessed me with this place,
the Lord and I together.
It has given me Heavenly grace,
despite any kind of weather.

This is beautiful Julie! A garden-lover myself, I've been so lonesome for my flowers. I was in an accident a few months ago, and still can't work in the flower beds. I miss it desperately, and it looks as though I will miss out on fall planting season too

But reading your poem is comfort! Thanks!

Visually inspiring! I can't grow silk flowers so I envy anyone who gardens.... you do it, I'll admire it!

Beautiful...my mother's passion is gardening, and some of it has worn off on me..flowers are truly lovely things, as is your poem.

Caroline, your message really touched me. What a sweet message. I will think of you on the days I need to pull weeds and feel thankful I can. I pray you will have a speedy recovery.

PDV, I garden for ones like you, the admirers. As I am an admirer of your work.
Thanks.

Julie,
I can only repeat:
He is happiest who has the power
To gather wisdom from a flower.
