Aye, look from shore as far as eye can sea
At waving tiers of wont. Your pounding heart
Beats harmonies on lonely bights, a part
Of shoal's; deep passion is revealed to me.

A spray of droplets whispers in my ear
As symphonies brew tempests that cascade
Effluent torrents - Thence shoal's all is said.
Transuding chants of seasong's muse I hear

Upon mere's surface - heart and soul in frith's
Fluidic dance about the brink of tide.
You sea this citadel's embracing shore

In countenance amount this earthen plinth's
Protective strand, your deep lee sanctified
In Heaven's light asea forever more.

Thanks, moonmoon -
This is an odd one, because it's really meant to be read aloud... There are several obscure wordplays that become more obvious that way.....Glad you enjoyed it...

Nan,
I never tire and always admire
Your more then the light of a candle
I would say more like a forest fire. *L*

As Euterpe sings unto the gods,
...with odes to us doth bless,
A creature fair from Cape Cod, Mass.,
...praise gods for Naniness.

With flowing grace and beauty thou dost breech the chamber's door.

Nan ... I noticed when I found this site (was it only a few weeks ago?!) that you had lots of good advice about the poetry of others but not many postings of your own ... in fact I didn't see any until your "Drive Thru" one (forgive me if I overlooked any)... but now, after reading this, I have to say it was well worth the wait! You did an excellent job with a difficult format, and your diction is nothing short of astounding ... I even had to break out the dictionary (I love it when I have to do that!).

I am heartily impressed ... I humbly ask that you give me advice on my future postings, if this is what I might strive for!

This is one heck of a piece of writing Nan.
You should put this in a book!
