Ya know I met these people about a week ago
And all this time I thought what a neat place to be
Everyone has their own special style and glow
And they actually reached out and accepted me.

There are so many poets in this happy group
And a family of sorts they have built out of words
Some are sad like in amber's soul searing abuse
Others are funny, lighthearted, dancing retorts

We have over a thousand in this merry band
This must be a testament to the power of rhyme
But nowhere else anywhere in all this great land
Would I rather be spending my non capital time.

WildChild, to put it mild-ly
We are glad you're here.
For what it's worth, we're full of mirth
With plenty of good cheer.

So sit back and enjoy the show
And join in when you can
And, if you ever have complaints
Be sure to scream at NAN!

I feel the same! Everyone does. You expressed this feeling of belonging so sweetly, Wild.

Loved your poem! If we could bottle the feelings here, we could make the whole world a better place.....then everyone would be a poet!
