I'll wait for you, for all of time The highest mountains, I would climb The raging rivers, knows not my wrath The mighty desert, could not hold me back Yes, ten thousand tears I would cry, to have you standing by my side The love I feel burns so deep, this love inside, I'll always keep Though you love me as you say, in a friendship sort of way It is patents that will see me through And hopes of one day holding you I will not rush the stars to shine Or pick fruit unripened from the vine Will not demand the grapes turn to wine I shall nurture all I hold, wait, and hope, for love to grow © tori 1999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If with pen in hand I've made you think I've not wasted one drop of ink vlh. |
