MISSING YOU

I miss the way you speak to me.
I miss the love you shared.
The way you pulled me from the dark
When I was sure that no one cared.

I miss the glimmer in your eyes,
The softness of your touch.
And all those little things I need -
I know I shouldn't need so much.

I miss the way we played together
Like two children sharing a dream.
The way you always opened me up
And set my emotion astream.

I miss the soundness of a sleep
Cradled in your embrace.
I miss the lullaby you sang to me,
You fingers lightly brushing my face.

The way the world fades away
When your soul dances with mine.
The way I give you everything,
The way you lay it on the line.

The way you question where I came from
When there's no denying it's true.
I am the other half of your soul -
Seeking completeness in you.

Oh Michael... this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! It brought tears to my eyes... I enjoy your work so very much... Reading your poetry is like watching "Gone With The Wind..." I need a box of kleenex and someone to share the moment with! Thank you for sharing that wonderful talent of yours!

Michael,
I knew there was a soft side to that Dark heart, as soft as the kiss of a razor out of the dark. I trust your Lady sees that as well.

You have left me speechless....and in awe at the beauty in this - what can I say to even TRY to explain to you how reading this made me feel ? I'll just sit here awhile and think of how lucky I am to be a part of you, in our poetry...I am so honored.

Micheal,
I'm lucky to have found this one...

I's just how I felt in Souls Lament. Not one of my happier pieces ): either by the way...

I read this again today, circumstances different, and nearly cry. I can't wait until I have a chance to talk to you....I have so much I'd like to say...okay, so now I'm crying as I sit here....I better go before I drench my keyboard......your words are my sunshine, Michael.

Your words are very powerful.

they speak my thoughts, especially with being in a longdistance love relationship. Thank you for a warm moment
