to let you go
it will kill me i know
but your better off
to let you shine
never mine
such hopes we had
wishing on that star
it reaches so far
like the glint in her eyes
i never saw
the wonder of it all
and shes better without me
fogging up the view
which i hope she
shares with someone bright
someone new

Definitely a poem to make one think. How many of us, knowing we are holding one back, are willing to let them go to reach their full potential? We tame horses, don't we?
