The wakeup call,
and song of a feathered friend,
chirping the song of nature.

Whistling softly through the rustle of the trees,
in the early dawn of morning,
as nature's appointed alarm clock,

Happily, freely, the uncaged singer
tenderly coos her ageless theme,
Uttering sweet songs au the day
