Look at you atop your steed of steel
An ugly ol' thang with dirty wheels
A rippled black tank with a busted blue stripe...
And a frame so old, it moans, snivels and gripes...
A king/queen seat that's seen much better days...
A speedo and tach read thru a filmy haze..
The chain is greasy and sloppy, in need of repair...
The brakes work okay but they're suckin' in air...
Tranny clatters and pops and makes rude little sounds...
Crankcase needs oil...valves prob'ly need ground...
The clutch is too loose, the shifter too tight..
And you know all this as you wheel her in for the night...
Now you work all day long to make that Sporty look good...
Just as your most vivid dreams said that you would...
Soon you can gaze at ol' Elvira with pride
Then trade the ol' bitch in for a pretty wide glide.

It's terrible the way we women seem to have to share our men with their significant other love which, usually turns out to be a hunk of metal of one kind or another. I assumed yours is a motorcycle, am I correct? I loved the way you described the whole thing, nice job.
