Closing your eyes my sweet child,
you drift away on moonbeams.
Sparkles in your hair from stardust bring,
a gift from God in an angel's dreams.

I'll stay by your side through the night,
keeping all bad dreams away.
Listen to me as you float along,
believe in the things I say.

I love you my darling can't you see,
the sandman has come to call?
It's time to sleep and dream of love,
for love will conquer all.

God's angels hold you on their wings,
rocking you gently to sleep.
Watching as you drift away,
my love is yours to keep.

Dream....a very comforting lullaby. Ah...to sleep that peaceful sleep knowing you are held by someone who loves you, what a wonderful thought.

Very pretty....well done....

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep,
If I should die before I wake,
Thank You God

Dream
This is a beautiful lullabye. What a diverse talent you are. Some of your darker pieces chill me to the core and then you write things like this. It's beautiful.

I liked it despite myself. Good job.

Thanks be to everyone but the credit for this piece goes entirely to one voice for not only allowing me to write this for her but for her love of children and self that inspired me to do so. Please give her the honor she deserves.

you're in the right place, but it got there by violence. You should try more complex rhymes if you want to be "there". This is not your potential.
