Strange and cold
One summer day can be
But for myself
I have no urge to flee.

Strange and cold
One's heart can be full of this
But for me I reject
And have nothing but bliss

Strange and cold
A night can be of
But for me I stand brave
Stand tall and above

Strange and cold
Can one's face consist
But for myself I turn around
In fact I must resist

Strange and cold
Can be a hand's hold
But for me I must relent
And make mine's as genuine as gold

Strange and cold
I can become
But for me the truth can only be if
I starved from boredom

Welcome to the family! Good poem, I look forward to reading more from you. (Either you know miriam or she's a very enthusiatic greeter here! LOL)
