I have to post this little ditty
It is the worst song I have ever heard
So forgive me if you wrote it
But, I doubt anyone would claim it!

"Lipstick, powder and paint
Lipstick, powder and paint
Is she is or is she ain't
Lipstick, powder and paint"

I work at a Bath and Body Works and we get prerecorded music to play...and this is one of the songs on our current tape...Just had to share it with you all and tell you what I read here is 100% better than what is on this tape!!!

It is bad but I feel that Purple Rain is much
worse.

Purple Rain
Purple Rain
Purple Rain

Good Grief, could they not think of words?

Lorelei,
LOL even if you had sung that on that rock, I doubt that men would have been so enchanted as to steer their ships onto the rocks and drown. LOL
Do you by the way know the old tale about Lorelei?

LOL Balladeer!!! Love the face!!!

I do not know what it means that
I am so sadly inclined,
There is an old tale and its scenes that
Will not depart from my mind.

The air is cool and darkling,
And peaceful flows the Rhine,
The mountain top is sparkling,
The setting sunbeams shine.

The fairest maid is reclining
In wondrous beauty there,
Her golden jewels are shining,
She combs her golden hair.

With a golden comb she is combing,
And sings a song so free,
It casts a spell on the gloaming,
A magical melody.

The boatman listens, and o'er him
Wild-aching passions roll;
He sees but the maiden before him,
He sees not reef or shoal.

I think at last the waves swalls
The boat and the boatman's cry;
And this is the fate that follows
The song of the Lorelei.
Heinrich Heine

Must say it loses somewhat of its beauty in the translation.
Angel
