Letter to my Dad

Final Analysis...Dad, maybe you weren't
a very good Dad, as for myself, maybe I
wasn't the best of sons...

Dad, you were your own man,
you had your style;
sometimes I think I was too focused
on the things I didn't like about you,
to fully appreciate those things
I did like about you,
there is a lesson to be
learned in my behavior.
Even as a child
may you find the way,
or even the path that teaches
you love and forgiveness,
otherwise, what seems like
a lifetime may come and go
and you may lose your chance,
or lets call it a
window of opportunity
to fully appreciate the
good side of your Dad,
and by the way, the only
earthly Dad you will ever have,
yes you may lose your Dad
before you can properly
love and forgive him and have
your final conversations,
and that would be sad...
