are like yesterdays socks, a crusty old pair, batman and robin or the ambiguous duo, gluey gum wads on my fleeing shoes, a pair of handcuffs minus the key to escape harassment’s bondage, two sided sticky tape layered with naval gazing lint and birdlime sap from evergreen wounds, a double roll of so transparent wrap stuck on itself, tedious and dreary. shine light on shadows and they eventually disappear, slink back into dark alleys for their stalking and bullying.
