Shooting Pool
There was a woman
I used to shoot pool with.
She would purposely wear a skirt
that was too short to distract
the men that challenged
her to a game of pool.
Well, actually she always
wore short skirts.
But then again, not when she
went to bed at night
or ask me to scrub
her back in the shower.
I remember one time
there was a man on the sideline
that ask her why she wore
such a short skirt
while shooting pool.
She just glanced at me
and smiled.
