“Come here Mom.  Come see!”  My child was a vision in a stunning dress of velvet pink.  Dancing and preening, admiring the dressing room mirror.  I smiled, holding an aching tongue.

“I need to show Dalton!  He’ll love this, he’s just gotta see!” My child nearly gasped in excitement, merry in this reverie.

And so away he went.  My heterosexual son,so like his mother, out to parade his wares.  Always shocking and full of glee.

We were swiftly removed from The Bon.

Oh my God, is it okay to laugh?  Because I did.  The poor Bon!!!  I really do love this piece, Clang.

Yes it's fine to laugh.  My son was always full of pranks when he was younger.

dear clang...

well, i asked for more of your writing...and here it is!

this cracked me up and made me think of my son at 6 wanting to go outside in his made- up super-hero outfit which included wearing clean briefs on the outside of his sweats...

i said, whoa...where ya goin' in your underwear? ~trying hard not to laugh~  he looked at me like i was crazy and said, well, everyone knows the power is in the briefs!...

and i let him go on outside while i laughed so hard i cried...then thought, well...with that attitude he'll be a typical man~~~~

thanks for letting me share

Thank you both for reading.

brneyedgrly-I think I like your story better.  It made me laugh.  Kids do say the funniest things.

Haha that's a funny little scene.  I don't know if I can really offer much in the way of critiques for this one.  It sounds nice and conversational.  And yes I did laugh a little.
