The 110th Congress Hasn't Earned A Break

Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she believes the reason why the American people don't like the Congress is because we haven't ended the war...

I offer some other reasons why the people don't like the Congress:

The Congress has failed to pass an Energy Bill that supports the proposal of both the Democratic and the Republican Partys, and meanwhile we contine to pay over $4.00 a gallon for gasoline.

The Congress has failed to pass an Immigration Reform Bill that will increase opportunites for those that apply legally to become Citizens and instead chooses to focus on granting amnesty to those that are in our County illegally.

Finally this Congress, under the failed leadership of Nancy Pelosi, had the gall, or the audacity as Barack Obama would say, to take a five week break without settling the issue that are important to the people.

My message to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and to all of the Members of Congress is to immediately go back to Congress and settle the issues that are important to all Americans.  My message to Congress is, you haven't earned a break, you don't deserve a break, now get back to work for the people that have elected you and need some respresentation.

Yes these issues are important to the people, but even more, they are critical to the country! America will not find respect in the rest of the world if they cannot find it first at home, with a president they can be proud of, and within themselves. I do so hope for your sake, and the sake of all Americans that your next president will begin this process of restoring what the founding fathers laid out in your constitution.
You deserve nothing less.

Interesting that you should post something like this in the prose forum.  Of course the prose forum is for non-fiction as well as fiction and so it's good to see someone taking advantage of the former.

As to your post itself, I think you might like to touch up on some of the spelling etc before you send it off to a politician.  Again, though, it's cool to see a piece of political argumentation on this forum.
