Once upon a time there lived a boy named Aaron. He lived at the base of Candy Mountain. It was very near the sea. Ever since Charlie the Unicorn had lost his kidney up there, no one -human or beast- had ever dared to go up there again. No one was actually sure if it really existed. Most believed it was just a myth, but the fact still remained that Charlie no longer had a kidney when he came back down. Although most believed that Candy Mountain was not real, that little bit of doubt scared people enough not to venture to find out. The animals had given warning that whatever was at the top of this peak could do no good and it will only cause harm to the people of the village at the base of the mountain.
Aaron grew up in his small village learning these stories and myths and it always struck his imagination, wondering what was really at the top of the mountain. He had a little sister named Alexii. They were three years apart, Aaron being fourteen and Alexii being eleven. Alexii was always a little too mischievous for her own good and sometimes got into things that she should not be. Aaron was always there to protect her and save her from any small trouble that came her way. That was how their relationship was, a type of bonding.
One day Aaron’s imagination had got the better of him and he told Alexii that he wanted to go see what was really at the top of Candy Mountain. She, of course, agreed quickly. So while Alexii got the provisions together for their adventure, Aaron decided on the way of journey and took care of all their precautions for the trip. At midnight that evening, the two of them snuck out of their house without their parents knowing and began their journey.
The journey began! They knew the way easily since Charlie had told everyone of his ‘adventure.’ So they made their way to the leoplurodon. Only the brave few got here, but they always turned back, too scared to keep going. Or maybe it was they didn’t understand what he was saying, either way no one went past the oversized leoplurodon. “There it is!” Alexii breathed.
When they reached the loeplurodon he said “Grgagagrgrrrrr” or so that’s what it sounded like to Aaron. But than he heard his sister say “Hello! We have traveled long to find the legendary Candy Mountain. Please show us the way!” the leoplurodon replied “Ggggggaaaaaaaaaarrrrroo0ooooiiiiiiii.” Aaron had no idea what the creature was saying but apparently, his younger sister did because she then said “ We take a right, then a left, climb 26 boulders, take a left then another left, a right, a left, a left, and a final right. That should take us right up to the top!” And on with their journey they continued.
When Aaron and Alexii finally reached the top of the mountain, they found a cave that said in bright red licorice letters: Candy Mountain. Then all of a sudden the little letters jumped off and started attacking poor little Alexii while singing some song about candy! Aaron quickly started beating the licorice letters down until one by one all five of those vicious letters died. He couldn’t just let his little sister be attacked like that! After the initial shock of the fight, the siblings ventured into the cave. But just then, the entrance to the cave started closing in on them!!! This time Alexii grabbed the dead licorice letter “Y” and jammed it into the doorway just in time to keep it from closing all the way. It seemed that Alexii and Aaron had conquered all the obstacles to come and seen all the surprises. But they were wrong.
As they explored the cave a little more they found a set of stairs that let deep into the ground. Aaron was the first to reach the bottom and when he did he gasped. The room was as large as a football field and it all contained golden treasure! And right in the middle of the room on a pedestal was the old unicorn Charlie’s long lost kidney. It was held there as if it was the most precious thing in the room. Both of the siblings did not understand this, but quickly packaged up the kidney and as much treasure as their bags could hold. Aaron and Alexii had conquered Candy Mountain and proved or disproved all the legends and myths.
When the children finally reached home again there was a huge celebration of their return home. When the villagers had found out where they had gone and what they had brought back, the feast was doubled in size! And that’s the story of how Aaron and Alexii, two brave siblings, had made their little village at the base of the mountain into the thriving country of Atlantis. And they all lived happily ever after.

If i had to choose between you and breathing, id use my last breath to say "I love you"
