I'm kind of experimenting with my writing at the moment so be gentle

Beautiful Days.

The midday sun had begun to burn off the early morning mist that had covered the beautiful green valley like thick rolls of cotton wool. As it broke through the clouds the sunlight illuminated the rippling water of the river as it sedately flowed downstream giving passers by a glimpse into the murky world of the fishes. An orange float tugged on an almost invisible line that arced downward from a long black rod jutting out from the leafy bank, it’s owner muttering in his sleep unaware of his missed opportunity. A couple strolled along the muddy path, holding each others hands and smiling, occasionally glancing into each others eyes or squeezing each others hand. They had just met and were deeply in love. Stopping at bench they sat down close beside each other, his arm around her waist, her hand clasping his hand, they turned and faced each other and smiled. Without words, they drew the other closer, closed their eyes and kissed. A group of school children holding hands trooped past in pairs and giggled, the two lovers quit their loving embrace and blushed still not speaking, content that they were close to each other. The owner of the long black rod, moved his hat up from his face and smiled, he remembered what that look they shared was like, packed his kit away and wandered home to his wife. The lovers turned and kissed again, passionately this time as they were alone, she whispered softly in his ear, they got up and slowly they strolled home.

I really enjoyed this! Your experiments are yielding great results

The description of the scene itself, and how each member of it affected the other, was just wonderful! I really enjoyed this very much.

Love's a lovely lad
His bringing up is beauty
Who loves him not is mad
For I must pay him duty
