Cows Eat Grass

Cows eat grass, did you know that?

No, really . . . they do! Mrs. Prichett, my science teacher, say’s it’s true.  Cows eat grass, and all that other stuff you see in books and vid’s is hogwash. Cows eat grass.

What’s grass?  I don’t know.  Mrs. Prichett say’s it’s something they had before the world was paved. As if the world could ever have been any other way.. Everybody knows God made it like this. I mean, even the Bible clearly states that’s so –  “And on the seventh day He paved the world so everything would be clean and free from disease.”

Of course we know the “free from disease” part didn’t quite work out. We’ve sick and dying all over the place. Some of the religious zanies say that’s  because the earth can’t “breathe” anymore, so everything’s dying. Mrs. Prichett say’s the zanies are the  the real sick-o’s, and points her finger at her head knowingly.

She’s pretty emphatic about the cows though. She say’s that’s been passed down for a hundred generations in her family. And she claims the Bible is wrong, God didn’t do any such thing on the seventh day. If there really was a seventh day He would probably have rested or something like that.  He certainly wouldn’t have paved over perfectly good grass.

Yeah, I don’t think teachers are as smart as they used to be either.  I think they’re being affected by all the rising fervor to break-up a section of pavement and see what’s underneath.  Don’t they realize the earth’s insides would spill out through the hole and all the pavement would implode. That’s a proven fact!  Gallieo XXVII proved that when he poked a hole in a water filled balloon and watched as all the water spilled out and the balloon shriveled up to a misshapen effigy of itself. Even we know that, and we’re just teenaged high-schoolers!

Cows eat grass! Bull-puckey – I think it’s just another of those sick jokes that get passed around, and it’ll die in it’s time.  It may live a little longer than most though, with all the fanatics pushing it’s cause.  But all fads pass and sooner or later truth wins out. It’s just a matter of time.

I mean, after all, how can the Bible be wrong.
