Have you ever climbed a mountain, looked down on the amazing expanse of raw beauty, and asked “how?”  Have you ever found yourself staring over the ocean, realizing that the next expanse of land would be Africa?  Has your train of thought ever gone back 200 years, and shown you the rigid reality of slavery?  Did you ever lean back on the palm tree, and ask the salty air “why?”  Have you ever gone for an early morning jaunt through frost coated forests, to witness the sharp and beautiful sound of a cardinal?  Did you ever find yourself stretching, leaning on an ancient tree, and wonder “what?” had it witnessed?  Have you ever spent a day with no one but yourself, only talked to your soul, and found out who that soul really is?  Were you disappointed or scared with the reality of your true self?  Or were you proud?  Did you smile at your discovery?  Are crowded rooms empty to you?  Are you the tortoise, or the hare, or, in the age of genetic manipulation, are you both?  Carry a load daily, never grow weak.  It can never be determined what awaits any one person.  Do not assume, people have the nasty habit of doing so and kicking themselves for it later.  Learn different languages, and yes, love is a language, so are hate, envy, and greed, but I do not recommend those.  Lessons tend to be learned and forgotten, remember, and don’t forget the tears and the rage.  Understand that rage is closer to love than anything else, and usually connected to it.  Pray, to a god, or to yourself, just have hope.  Faith should never come before reason.  Fate is not an alibi, never blame it for anything.  You are who you are; do not change, unless you have no friends, then change a little bit, but not too much!  Be careful who you fall in love with, they probably won’t love you back.  Soul mates are a fake [Edited by Moderator] sliver of hope created by the lonely.  Love is never two-way, and if it is, it never, ever lasts.  If you died tomorrow who would come to your funeral, now who would tell funny stories, THESE are your true friends, hold them closer than even YOU heart.  When you give your soul away, don’t do it in secret, you’ll always get it back, have a repair kit and notebook ready. Study your mistakes and learn. Above all learn and give thanks.  Whether or not it is genuine, people help.  And don’t forget to climb a mountain.

Always look forward, never look back, dreams are much more refreshing than regrets.

You sure put a lot of thought into this write.  There was some very good points, and advise in your writing, and although I didn't agree with a couple of points I sure enjoyed the read.  I have done a lot of the things you suggested and will continue to do them.  Enjoyed your work very much.

I enjoyed this!  I, as well, didn't agree with all the points but that's what makes life interesting.  ;-)

My favories were:

"Have you ever spent a day with no one but yourself, only talked to your soul, and found out who that soul really is?  Were you disappointed or scared with the reality of your true self?  Or were you proud?  Did you smile at your discovery?"

and

"When you give your soul away, don’t do it in secret, you’ll always get it back, have a repair kit and notebook ready."

This peice really made me think and I love that!

Always nice to stop and take a moment.  Thanks for the read!
