NOTE: THIS IS FICTION AND NO ONE DIES. THIS IS NOT REAL... AND IN THE END THE GIRL DECIDES SHE DOESNT NEED A SCHOLARSHIP. NO TEACHERS ARE HARMED.

Part One: Fallen

Chapter One: It all started with a scholarship

I ran down the stairs to the rhythem of the beating rain outside. Towards my mother with and excited expression across my face.
"What's going on. Why are you so excited?"Asked my mother Renee.

"Mother Mother... Your going to be so proud." The phone rings in the background. Renee whisks away to answer it. Keilla trailing behind.

"Hello This is Renee Burke." answered her mother as she picked up the telephone.

"Mom, I got straight A's on my report card." Exclaimed Keilla.

"NOT NOW Keilla. Not now. Can't you see I am on the phone?"

" Yes Mother."

"Oh, Hi Sharlene. Yes. Of Course Keilla is always willing to watch your kids. I will send her right over at 6 then. Buh-Bye."

Renee hangs up the phone with a loud crash. Walks to the living room where Keilla is watching MTV.

Music is blaring through the house. Its tearin up my heart when I'm with you, But when we are apart I ........

"Keilla Lauren Burke, Why are you so rude. Your smarter than that and 17 years old. How many times have I told you not to talk to me while I am on a phone call?"

"Hundreds Mom, Hundreds."
"Then why do you still do it?"
"I don't know, I guess I don't really think about it to much."
"Well if you would just think more often maybe just maybe you will get that scholarship you have been telling me about. In the mean time you need to head over to Sharlene's at 6 your babysitting the girls again."
"MOTHER, not again."
"Well this can be the last time ok."
"Okay I am out then Be back soon."

Keilla stands up clicks off the TV and heads to her room. In her room she grabs her purse, discman and cds. Then closes the door and walks to the front door of her house. Takes her coat out of the closet, Slams the door with a thawck and heads out the front door in a huff.

On her way to Sharlene's Keilla thought in her head. I am going to get that scholarship. No more Lil miss Nice chic. I played that role way too long. Since elementary school. I will do anything to get that scholarship. Including but not limited to kissing my teachers on the lips.

I am the most popular most beautiful girl in the school. The least to be suspected for murder. I have one goal in mind and I am making it come true. I am getting that $25,000 Scholarship even if I have to kill to get it.

Chapter 2- On the Job
The rain is still beating hard against the ground. Keilla's Jeans swishing as she walked. Soaked from head to toe. Keilla moans at the sharp coldness on her neck. The sun just set below the mountians. A clap of thunder is heard in the distance as flashes of lightning light up the night sky. Keilla walks faster as the rain falls harder.

Footsteps can be heard just a second off beat from hers. Her heart skips a beat falters and returns to normal. Keilla spins around to look behind her. Nothing out of the ordinary is around her. Not a car or person in sight.

Only 3 houses left to pass before Keilla will be safe inside Sharlene's house. A strike of lightning lights up the sky. As Keilla knocks on the door thunder roars above her head. Sharlene answers the door, moves aside and lets her in.

"Keilla, Thank You so much for coming a short notice. The twins are upstairs sleeping and Airynne is in the kitchen getting ready for the 1st day of school tomorrow." Sharlene greeted Keilla

"Your welcome Sharlene. Everything will be fine here. I have everything under control."
"Alright then. The phone numbers are still on the fridge. I expect Airynne in bed by 8:30. I will drive you home at 9. See you soon."
"Okay, Goodbye Sharlene."

The thunder has died off the rain has slowed. Not much to worry about. The shutters of the house vibrated and clacked hard against the house. A shrill meow from a cat somewhere on the street is heard loudly inside the house.

Keilla put Airynne to bed at 8:30 as she had been instructed too. Vaccumed the house, cleaned the kitchen and washed the insides of the windows. She baked cookies for the family to eat the next day. As her time babysitting was coming to an end the phone rang. Keilla answered but heard no noise. Keilla hung up the phone and put it out of her mind.

When Sharlene arrived promptly at 9. Keilla was ready to go. Keilla had school to prepare for as well. Not only did she have to prepare, but she had to make a plan. A plan that would help her get her scholarship.
