Life,
Each day a new beginning, with them the problems of the world seem to find themselves on the door steps of many, a face of happiness hard to show, the hopeful thoughts within, dissolve in yet another day.
Weeks, then years, struggling to meet the commitments that life bestows to most.
Desires many, one sleeps the sleep of dreams, then lives the dreams, and in them lives the life they wish to lead. Dreams so perfect, perfection’s attained with ease, a mere thought, brings excellence to the role.
Dreaming ends, visions vanish, sunlight of the morn appears, clouds of amber red lay beneath the light of dawn, this may turn.
The morning face so bright, may change to cloud and rain, as joy and hope in ones self, can change to sadness and despair.
Mother nature guides the weather, inner natures guide us, and try to work through the complexity’s of the mind ,and how we can cope, through each and every day.
Dismay, makes all days sad and lonely, while acceptance turns each day to a new day, with hope trying to find the light, that flickers in the outer reaches of futures bright.
Betterment we want, but without the drive for betterment to make, one sits in the hole they have created themselves, which slowly becomes deeper, and deeper, the longer fear and unknowing goes on.
Days are short, lives are merely stepping stones to greatness, the greatness of dreams that wait behind the curtain of life.
Life’s a test of courage, desire, will and love. The lord he watches with his eyes of peace, while showing life its all.
The buck stops here, luck is made by they who make their luck, nothing is just served on the plater of life, it is worked for and earned, the rewards then, are happiness with brighter futures.

So
Treat each day as if your last,
work, but smile a lot.
Be ever grateful for life’s gifts,
and all from life you’ve got.

I enjoyed this. You made me stop and think about all of the things that happen "naturally" around us, outside of our control, and while we are not puppets on a string, there is still so much to dance with...

and I hope that I do, indeed, make each day count!  Well done Rick...

Thanks for the reply Sunshine, nice to see you check out all the areas on this site, something I wrote a while ago and sits on my mind at times.

Be well.

Rick
